I feel really sorry for Joe. A young, potentially great, keeper should really be learning from both experience in the reserve team and also from another experienced keeper who is in the first team. Hart has been thrown in at the deep end. Not only that, he has an incompetent defense in front of him so he is being thrown into situations where he has to make very very awkward decisions ans sometimes he has to make a decision based on the lesser of two evils.
I am a big believer that he will be a top class keeper.....in the future. I really think he needs a good mentor. Not saying that we are going to get Buffon or anything, but somebody with a lot of experience would be a great buy. I was really excited at the prospect of Given coming to us. That would be a great move for both the club and for Joe.

Does anyone think our defensive frailities are due to Hart?
In the past 5 matches he has had the opportunity to come for crosses from over 35 yards into the box but he has stayed rooted to his line and the defenders have been slaughtered. Everton he could have come for the cross Dunne put out for a corner, WBA the winner he should have come for that ball, Blackburns 2nd he could have come for that as well and today 1st goal if he comes he would punch it clear (not defending Micah he should have dealt with it) and who coes to punch a ball from a corner that is waist high and still miss it which led to the 3rd goal. Lets not even talk about his distribution.
The defence has no confidence him and he is too comfortable. Time for a change.

Were any of the goals Joe Hart's fault? NO
Has he got a great defence infront of him? NO
He is 21. He needs to come out of the limelight abit, there are not many 21 year old keepers playing in the prem. He needs a decent keeper with him to keep him on his toes.

Forest should have scored before they did today, he was rooted to his line for the first two corners they had, whilst it's not wholly his fault, he aint up to the job at this present moment in time

The worry sings were there to see after the first two corners.
They won both headers easily.
