Today's Games

Spuds forum

Just looked in Spurs forum, what a bunch of cunts:

Our fixtures
Chelsea away (1)
Blackpool home (3)
Man City away (3)
Liverpool away (1)
Birmingham home (3)

POINTS - 66

City's fixtures
Blackburn away (1)
West Ham home (3)
Tottenham home (0)
Everton away (0)
Stoke home (3)
Bolton away (1)

POINTS - 64

We can still do it, keep the faith! COYS

This is why I think City will mess it up...
1) They have a history of being bigger bottlers than arsenal (which says something )
2) No Tevez - Dzeko looks very average and Balotelli is a nut case who's waiting for a move to AC Milan
3) FA Cup - They'll concentrate on that.
4) Arrogant - They're so arrogant, even their fans they'll think fourth is in the bag and relax a bit.
5) City of Manchester Stadium - May aswel rename it WHL we have such a good record there. We'll win there and they'll shit themselves and bottle the rest of the season.
6) Mancini - Negative, he'll find a way to ruin them.

We'll probably beat Chelsea, City and Liverpool then lose to Brum and Blackpool to be honest.

I'm a massively optimistic fan, but even I have to say, we've F'd it in the A

What a bunch of cunts. Especially that middle one. They are trying to be positive and really hating on us. Ahhha...i laugh at them. Bitter losers...

"Balotelli waiting for Milan move".."Mancity will fuck it up"...

Let's have a laugh boys!!!! I hope Tottenham sink to hell and i hope Chelsea rape their ass hard!

What's slightly disturbing is that in the past few weeks, Tottenham have drawn against Wolves, West Brom, West Ham and Wigan, and yet we're only f*cking 1 point clear! It's a good job they're so shit!

Come on City, full-strength team against Blackburn, 3 points, DO NOT F*CK THIS UP!

The implosion of a dream. 5 years or hard work down the drain due to bad management both on and off the field. If we had someone half decent up front we would've been 4-1 up at this point. It's unbelievable. People all over Manchester are laughing their ass off now...

Maybe you lot brung it on yourselfs HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Re: YESSSSS SPURS DRAW I LOVE ROY HODGSON

This thread should be started after Blackburn. If we can get 6pts against Blackburn and Wet Spam i'd be delighted considering that Spurs play Chelski next week.

I think, outside of my neutral BBC mode, that today's results were good in terms of us finishing fourth, but not great. Spurs are unbeaten in 6, and Liverpool are steamrollering towards European football next season. Liverpool have an easier run in, with 3 of their four remaining games being at home. But West Brom and Roy Hodgson may have done us two huge favours by taking four points off Liverpool and Tottenham.

However, City lose on Monday night and we may as well surrender fourth to Tottenham. We need the fighting spirit we showed in the second half at Wembley in every single game between now and the end of the season for at least 70 minutes during a game. We do that, and I would maybe like to challenge for third again. I think we need to look at finishing third so that we can fall backwards onto fourth, if you get what I mean? Spurs' may be unbeaten in 6, but 4 of those games were draws - 3 of which that were against lower table sides that they should be beating.

Earlier on in the season, I refused to be happy when Blackpool beat Spurs as there were ten games for things to go wrong, and it's even more tense now. I am happy with today's result, but it is up to City on Monday to win convincingly. Let's do our goal difference some favours as well! We haven't won an away game in 2011, so it's about time we took advantage of Blacburn's terrible form and won the game. Blackburn haven't won in the league since they beat West Brom 2-0 at the end of January. Blackburn have gone nine games since then and not won. In fact, it's worse than that - Blackburn have picked up just 4 points from a possible 27 in the league.

My prediction for Monday night is irrelevant; but a win of any kind will be welcomed greatly. Let's pull away now and secure our place in the top four!

Good post Bob. The bit in bold is particularly important. If we can do that, I can't see any issues at all.

so?
its just the spurs equivalent to here.
they do have a good record against us so you can understand them being optimistic.
others will have the knee jerk reaction that many have over here and think its over.

You heard Redknapp's interview? Said they are an attacking team and could play more defensive and win 1-0 but they 'don't want to bore the pants off people' like other teams. Twitchy ****. He'll be twitching on the other side of his face when we stuff them.

to be fair we have played some tough games during this period and we still have a game in hand.

We won't f**k this up.

We 'bore the pants off people' and we sit fourth in the table.

Oh, Harry.

Re: Spuds forum

This is why I think City WON'T mess it up...
1) They have a history of being bigger bottlers than arsenal (which says something ) Except of course that was the old City. The new City won't be such a pushover.
2) No Tevez - As we saw against Man U, City are not a one man team. Before we knew how to contain City, just mark Tevez. With him out of the picture, we won't know where the dangers are. Yaya? AJ? Silva? Balotelli? We can't mark them all!
3) FA Cup - They are greedy and want 4th and the Cup. I wish we were as ambitious as they are.
4) Arrogant - They're just like us really, they want 4th, we want 4th. Only difference is WE'VE been the arrogant ones because we think Spurs deserves it.
5) City of Manchester Stadium - That place has become a fortress since we last played them. Plus we've never had to face a team with Hart, Kompany, De Jong, Yaya, Silva, AJ and Balotelli before. *whimper*
6) Mancini - I wish Twitcher was as classy as he was. One Cup final after just 18 months...

Edited for common sense

I like the sound of this...suggests the pressure's getting to him.

I had us down for finishing on 66/67 points a while ago on BBC predictor. Spurs won't get that.

I posted about 5 weeks ago that on the predictor we would be 8 points clear of Spuds by the time we play them, now i think it may only be 6 points clear but i still believe 67 points will seal 4th place this year.
