I think part of the problem is the officials are intimidated by the strong home support, their strong handed tactics rarely get punished at home.
A stat just popped up saying Stoke have only made 1 foul in nearly an hour of football today, I've seen at least 6 which haven't been given in the 15 minutes I've been watching.

You've got to respect this lot, everything they do is at 100% - one thing guaranteed next week - they'll be at it

Well Song has a huge rip near the neck of his shirt and Huth had nothing.
If someone grabs your shirt whilst you're trying to mark them, and starts wrenching you out of the way, are you just going to let them? Or are you going to fight back?
The sport Stoke play is closer to rugby than it is football. They lump it forward, chase it then stop the opposition by whatever means they can find; grabbing, pulling, shoving.
