Yeah, he had a good game. Gave us a soft-ish penalty, but that was made up for by the one he missed in the second half when that little twunt Bowyer had a hold of Ned's arm. Oh; and Brum's goal was marginally offside (as was Ade in the build up to our third!) All in all though, 8.5/10 for the ref.samharris said:Thought he did well, so credit where its due.

Near the end of the match he kicked a spare ball into touch and a bloke near me shouted "Fuck off you fat twat" - made me chuckle.

He had a cracking game. Probably the only home game for about 2/3 months that we haven't been singing anti-ref songs. That says it all really. Good performance by Dowd.

Thankfully NO issues with the linesmen today. They are the worst bunch I've ever seen, us east stand regulars have been privy to some shocking ones.

1st 20 minutes I thought he was pretty wank....then he settled in nicely. Most referees would have given that penalty at first site. It was a foul from behind in real time speed.

He did very well i thought. You expect a referee to make the occasional mistake during the game and Dowd's first was in the 35th minute. Cant mind what it was, but when i watched the game back last night, it was then. Possibly gave a goal kick when it shouldve been a corner.

best reffing performance i've seen at COMS this season.. fair play to him, i thought he did it perfectly (although the pen might have been a bit harsh, won't complain about that though)
If it wasn't for the fact he had such a good game when reffing us I'd say he was bent. The Terry handball was a joke, his arm was by his side and he kind of has it behind his back. As for the sending off, Terry clearly gets the ball. Two big poor decisions that could have a major impact on the outcome of the season. let's hope not.
