All the things we do to protect our children (cupboard locks, plug socket covers, tethered blind cords, tamper-proof detergent bottles, etc.) and this Muppet had a loaded pistol in her bag within reach of a 2 year old. Beggars belief.

My wife's old school friend works at that hospital in Tulsa. Apparently the killer wanted revenge against a surgeon because he wasn't happy with how his operation went.

A huge amount. Did they break it down at all?
I believe a large amount of shootings are carried out with unregistered guns by criminals in the course of their crimes?

I don't think they have broke it down into individual causes.
They say there were 650 incidents resulting in 730 deaths. 66 were teenagers & 23 were children.
I'd guess most of these are due to gang or domestic issues.
