Just got back, great day out.

Never known weather like it on the way over, seriously frightening driving conditions.

Glad we made it though.

Yeah a good day out with a decent atmosphere too! :D Was talking to these guys before the game who had set off at 7 in the morning to get up fronm Essex!

Very good on him, and if your reading this, well played. :)

Well done, Rammy. Brilliant.

i didnt see any bad weather till we hit brough, a1 was clear untill on way back, but it was so FREEZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG and i dont ever want to go up there again, well not winter anyway

Thanks to those who warned of bad weather. The trip over the top was horrendous at crawling pace past the farmhouse on the M62. But then it cleared after Leeds until about 15 miles from Boro. As for the trip back, alot easier now that the Highways Agency had gritted the Mways.
As for the game, great turn out from City, but you could have put all the Boro fans in one stand. FFS 12,400..........PITYFULL when you think there was @ 3,000 blues.
And although Benjani scored I think (hope) that Roberto has sussed out that he`s not up to it.
Boyata, superb display and stood out as one of the best players on the pitch. Weiss has got to learn when to pass. And although there isn`t a full understanding yet between Petrov, Bellamy & Tevez when it does click some team is going to get a pasting.

With any luck, you'll never have to.

Just back home - really bad on M62 on the way there, no clear directions for parking, freezing cold and no decent pubs near the stadium -s@*t ground no fans but we were brilliant, even though the game was very dull -we won and kept a clean sheet...never felt more like singing the blues...bring on wednesday!

Best part of the whole day was gettin to Leeds on the way back on the train and 2 girls aged 8-9 got on and ran towards us sayin 'we love city'
and before you ask no i'm not a pervert

Really wanted to go today, but had no source of transport :(

Kudos to those that made the effort :)

Thanks alot, i've just jumped out of the shower.....a very very hot one I might add!

I can't really take that much credit because I went on the train there and back, but I must admit there was a great following from the blues and as you said every single one deserves a 'well done!'

On the game itself I thought it was pretty average, but Boyata was simply immense. 'Boro weren't much cop, pure route 1....

Must admit there support was low in numbers but waiting for the train back they were really nice, and would just walk straight up to you to have a quick chat!

Thanks for making this thread and I hope it gets the credit it deserves, and I must admit, that was DEFINETLEY the coldest away game I have ever been to (or hope to go to!)

I loved the announcment though:

"Manchester Highways agency would like to inform all city fans the roads home are clear and passible with caution."

Not only useful and well thanked, but the chorus of "we're going home, we're going home! City's going home!" cheered me up =)

Well done to all fellow away blues today!
