you might want to go back and read his posts again in retrospect. I like the friday deadline part where everything is agreed including image rights and it's just a matter of the club working out hoe to sell it to the fans. It was this friday deadline that sent the thread into a frenzy and culminated in the infamous "he said yes" message. Then look at the re-write that takes place on the day we are actually negotiating. If you read it all with a clear mind you will see he contradicts most of what he said the previous day.
But that's just my opinion. You can tell me to fuck off if you like!

If people were mature enough to read rumour posts for what they are (unconfirmed rumours and plans that might never materialise) without acting like paranoid and abusive school children, if someone did arrive wanting to 'wum' people it wouldn't be quite so funny for them would it.
And if somebody arrived wanting to 'wum' me, while being a 30 year old man who's had a season ticket since 1990 and seen nothing resembling success (in the top flight at least), I could handle it. If what you're saying is that YOU couldn't handle it because of all YOU'RE suffering then say it. Despite having seen no success for years but to continue attending home and away, tens of thousands of city fans mustn't class supporting city as 'suffering' or they (and I) wouldn't continue doing it.

I can honestly say that Ajay's posts have never come across to me as "just for a laugh". Nor have I ever felt that they have caused me to suffer in any way. Quite the reverse they have given me hope that things are getting better.

on balance i think that ajay passed on information that reflected the mood and thinking within the club at the time. if it all looks rather over-confident in retrospect, then it's not fair to shoot the messenger. now that the press have stopped slating us, and the siege mentality has faded a bit, I for one am just a little bit embarrased by our conduct in this window. sure, i had high expectations, but not in terms of star players. I just expected us to be a bit more organised and cuter. fairly or not, we've ended up looking like we will pay over the odds for some players (bridge and bellamy, and De Jong...maybe unfairly, although i am still not entirely certain that he DID sign that new contract), but can't reach deals for other targets (RSC, toure, diarra).
