Hope the BBC do a better job with the climbing final tomorrow. That highlights package was awful. Spent almost the entire time telling you how it works, and then failed to show a single complete climb. Why not tell people the rules while they're actually watching people do it?

I don't know who the boxing commentator is but he's keen to use 20 words when one will do. At the start of the final round in one fight, he spent so long telling us "It's the third and final round in the Olympic ??kilo class mens' boxing, here in Tokyo, between... the fight had almost finished

I feel like the Greeks would have approved. They had the herald and trumpet contest. Times change but climbing a wall is always a useful skill.

Disappointed the women's stroke play isn't what I thought it was.

Strong start from KJT after everybody was unsure what condition she was in. She's always been good at the hurdles though, so we'll find out more on her weaker events.

Just watched Sky Brown (13 years old) skateboarding. Wow! What a talent.

Enjoyed the climbing too. For anyone who has never climbed, it's hard to comprehend just how strong and dynamic those athletes are.

I didn't realise we had a genuine gold medal chance in the skateboarding, Sky Brown is amazing and only 13 years old!
