Tommy Hutchison 'Tales of Blue' Q&A

Following the recent Tales of Blue Q&A I did with Tommy Hutchison I sent Tommy some items to sign along with a cheque to have dinner on me as a thank you for his time.

This morning the items arrived back signed which also included his 1981 FA Cup jumper he donated into the collection while returning my cheque to which he’d written on the front “Thanks but no need” and on the back “Once A Blue, Always A Blue”.

class act, my Dad (born 1970) used to rave on about the Scottish trio of Gow, Hutchison and McDonald from when he was a kid, have forwarded the interview on to him so he can have a bit of nostalgia :) thanks a lot excellent work!

Really good interview and many good memories. The Kippax loved Tommy Hutch.
I know time must have been limited but it would have been lovely to have heard from him about the 2 epic Everton games in the QF. In fact, Tommy was nutted by Ratcliffe at Goodison - have always wondered what lay behind that. The City turn out at Everton was superb, must have been over 13,000 and the noise at Maine Rd was off the scale
