Tommy Muir RIP : minutes applause on 71 mins

Rest in peace Tommy
Thanks for the help you have given me over the years and for the great chats we had whilst waiting to collect our tickets at the ground.
Your dedication to Cheadle supporters club will never be forgotten by all its members and from all other City supporters who have known you.
God bless
Clarky xx

Never met him, but definitely know his face, and from the posts I've already read, it's clear he was a massive Blue with a great personality.
I lost my dad to the same condition 8 years ago, so this really hits home.

RIP Tommy.

Ran a great pub, didn't take any messing either. Went back to the George after Gillingham at Wembley and the party was in full swing. The scene of many a happy night (and day) out in my younger years, back when Cheadle used to be THE place to go to warm up for a night out on the town.

Condolences to his family.

I didn't know him but sounds a proper character. Passed from the same disease that took my mum, pulmonary fibrosis, a devastating illness that has no cure, it stops sufferers walking a few yards before getting well out of breath.

RIP Tommy, you can't suffer anymore.
