Tommy Tuchel's England squad | Nov '25 (p17)

Think Tommy still holds a grudge from 39 some of those players ffs and one is ours not good enough on form or for going forward with :-(
 
Waistcoat man was building a team with young blood - Tuchel has recalled deadwood. Is this a deliberate ploy to ensure England flop at the World Cup?
 
A lot of fans can't be arsed with England matches now because the England team might not have the amount of players from the top sides any more, plus football appears to have gotten more tribal even though it's far less English/British.

Saying that we have a German with a thoroughly English name so it can't be all bad..can it?
 
I,m just waiting for the media to start their jingoistic shit, get Tuchel sacked and we all go around again. Will never win anything this country, shooting ourselves in the foot we would win at that.

Might as well be Scotland

Well, that didn’t take long did it.
I said throughout Southgate’s tenure that whoever comes in next will be hated, will face the same abuse, will get moaned at for squad selections, tactics and formations. Doesn’t matter what manager it is and what he does differently. We’re a nation of moaners that love to hate our own. It won’t change. Only respite a Manager may get is by lifting a trophy - even then, I’m doubtful.
 
I think the Henderson thing is a bit weird, but the main thing is to get through the qualifiers, which should be a piece of piss frankly.

Once upon a time any England team would give Albania and teams of that ilk a six or seven goal start and have them beaten by half time. The fact that Tommy Tucker brings back Henderson gives the lie to the idea he might just be a little more radical and adventurous. I shall watch the first half just to see if England score seven or eight.
