Tommy Tuchel's England squad | Nov '25 (p17)

Foden had a difficult season last year but seems to be on the way back. Confidence is higher and he looks to be enjoying his game again. Personally, I think the last thing he needs now is to land back in this shitshow system where he never gets the ball despite running his nuts off all match. England lose, the media hacks do the usual hatchet job on any City player involved. England win when ball goes in off Bellingham's arse in 90th minute, praise the Lord for giving us St Bellend. Stay away Phil, it's not worth it.
Think it's Tuchel stamping his authority. Henderson and Rashford in my opinion should be nowhere near the squad ,the only surprise is he hasn't picked one of his old mates Mason Mount which he probably concedes is stretching it a bit , but there's still time.
Much as I rate Phil, in 45 caps for various reasons hasn't hit his club form and the anti City media don't help.

Rice 'injured'

It could happen.

Foden, Stones and O'Reilly all called up.

Gordon, Kane, Rashford and Saka missing off of the bottom to save you a click.

The way Tuchel was talking, it doesn’t sound like Phil will get much game time unless Kane gets injured or we are chasing a goal, but even then, he’ll probably use Bellingham or Fishfinger first.

Hopefully Nico gets at least one start.

Good to see Scott and Wharton called up too.

I do like Tuchel's press conferences, he's very upfront, describes exactly where he envisions the players playing and doesnt bullshit when giving readon why a player is included or omitted.

He described Bellingham as a pure 10 and foden as a 9/10 hybrid that has to play centrally and not as a winger. That part was pleasing to hear, at least he gets it unlike waistcoat, however Phil should be the 8 for England.

I dont think having Kane as the 9 helps foden either, Kane doesnt make forward runs, he drops in deep right into fodens position so foden has got nobody to supply and has Kane eating into the space he wants to be in, he'd be much better if he had a Watkins or even dare i say it, rashford ahead of him to stretch the space for him. Just can't see Phil playing well in that team, he needs to find some arrogance, make a game all about him, show how good he is and force the manager to make him more of a focal point to the attack but I don't see him doing that sadly.

Bloody hard with Kane invading his space and Bellend refusing to acknowledge he is on the pitch. Will be interesting to see what Tommy does about that if anything.

I strongly doubt all 3 will be on the pitch at once. It'll be Kane with either Bellingham or Rogers behind starting then foden will come on for any of those 3 at some point.
