There will be a message in the programme for my Uncle who sadly passed away last month! (Nigel Breley)
Nigel was 41, and left behind 4 children, I know I might be slightly bias but he really was an amazing guy, and a life long city fan who could have drank anybody under the table! :o)
He will be sadly sadly missed!!!!
His ashes are being scattered in the memorial garden, but i wanted to mention to everybody just how absolutely fantastic the club have been in helping with everything!!!
I really hope we thrash them tomorrow, for him and everybody else that cant be with us tomorrow!

I really am so sad to read this. I knew Nige very well, we worked together in Sandbach for a few years in the 90s and became good mates, played five a sides together every week, out on the beers regularly, even took a road trip to Amsterdam once. We fell out of touch when he moved to the Isle of Man, then I moved to Australia in 99 and we only got back in touch late last year through Facebook. I will forever be greatful that we did.
I have only just found out about his passing after getting a message from his cousin in Canada, so am still in a bit of shock. Do you mind my asking what happened? He never mentioned that he was sick - then again, he wasn't the sort of person to make a fuss.
You are right, Nige was an absolute legend, certainly one of the most charismatic guys I ever knew. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met and he was as bigger City fan as you could get. He named his first son, George, after Kinkladze - a compromise after his wife vetoed his first choice, Niall!!!
So glad to see the respectful and supportive response from the club. Goes to show what we all know, that this is much more than a football club.
RIP Nige. You'll be sadly missed by everyone that ever had the privilege of knowing you. Condolences to you, Sambaboys, and all his family.
