TomTom Satnav

Got a tomtom sat nav guys,version 2 I think,and basically it seems to have died yesterday.

When you switch it on it says cannot find maps,but I aint downloaded nothing off pc or out,just switch it off as normal and bung it back in glovebox.

Anyone any idea's as to what to do,or could it simply be fucked ?

I had a John Cleese moment on my car last wednesday as yet again the satnav didn't recognise the post code I had inputted, only used the fecking thing about a dozen times in 4 years and half of those it hadn't recognised the address


I've since gone back to the A-Z

If you made a backup on TomTom Home, you will be able to reinstall everything. If not check out one of the many SatNav(TomTom) forums for help.

Had a look on there pal,but dont seem to be able to rectify the bloody problem tho !

Ah well never mind,have to buy a new un I suppose
