If they reckon they can get Dzeko for 20m, perhaps we should table a 7m bid for this guy (really fed up with Bayern slagging us off for debt - a la before our CL games - and the way we have financed our rise, only to then table ridiculously low bids for our players).

They can get away with this with German teams and German players, but not with us.

But we made a profit on Boateng even though he was underwhelming with us and as Dzeko has been more of a squad player you can hardly expect his value to have risen?
If £20m is offered as an opening bid for a guy who is nearly 2 years nearer the end from when we bought him that is not too bad unlike the loss we took on Robinho where we lost nearly 20m in a couple of years!
Having said that I'd rather keep Dzeko and use him as a change-up.
