My Wigan prediction was just a lucky - albeit calculated - guess, based on how the rags were playing and how Wigan were playing. But it was just a guess. And my prediction about the league was wrong. I thought we would win it, but I didn't call the 4-4 rags v Everton, so I thought we would need Sunderland to help us. In the end, we didn't.

I decided to post the Guardiola thing in this thread because it would be amusing to bump it up before Christmas. We will see, won't we.

I remember the night you wrote this. I considered not even bothering with the game as it was a dead rubber. I did do, and I remember it was the night 'we'll fight to the end' was first sung- more out of defiance than hope. I can remember the cheering and celebrations for the Wigan win, but even then I never really believed we would do it.

Just one month on who would have thought we would be singing 'well fight to the end' in such a stunned fashion after sergio's miracle?

With regards to pep, I'd be flabbergasted if city changed manager mid season.

Did'nt mancini come in mid-season....although cant see it happening...
