I'd sooner have this little guy than Guardiola. Look how he's telling the back three/four to get the fuck up field.
 
Definite use of the crystal ball here. Still remember that night vividly, and my complete shock when I found out that Wigan had won. As the OP said, this was pretty much the night that everything changed.

Personally, I considered the greatest psychological blow (with the exception of the win on April 30th and the 4-4 Everton game) to be the 1-6 at Norwich. Must have made fucking frightening viewing for the odd lot. Fluid football.
