This should be called off just seen a tree blocking the road only takes some flying debris and people could get seriously injured

Virgin trains west coast all cancelled.
Hollinwood ave?
Fans could get run over on a random summers day. There is literally no reason to call the game off tonight.

-- Wed Feb 12, 2014 6:54 pm --

Travelled to and been to away games as 'bad' as this. It's windy, that's all.

This is 47000 people in gale force winds. Trains have been cancelled across the board. How often does that happen?

I'm no health and safety freak but if there are red warnings, trains completely cancelled and trees blown over and you think it's safe for football, let alone the farce it will make of the game.

At the ground, very windy but will be no problem inside. Hunkering down in MacDonald s over the road atm.

It took about 5 hours to rage through South london this afteroon, so whenever it started in Manchester add on 5 and it should be clearing.
Mind you - 106mph winds in Wales, shite that's bad. Not heard a mention of "hurricane" on the news but Crewe station has been evacuated and all Virgin west coast trains cancelled.

Safe journey blues.
