Winning in Dortmund is seriously impressive. Is it time to take Arsenal seriously now?

No it should have atleast ended in a draw bc that was a penalty at the end on Lewa

oh come on does this constant denial not get a bit embarrassing after a while?

constantly scratching looking for reasons not to give us any credit, always coming up with mitigating circumstances as to why we won.

oh but liverpool didnt play well, dortmund should have had a penalty etc etc. what about the penalty we should have had when their keeper got nowhere near the ball and clattered kos in the box?

there isn't a team in the world that could have gone to that stadium tonight and not have had to deal with heavy pressure for most of the game. this is a team that hammered madrid 4-0 here last season. the question is how you deal with it, and we dealt with it perfectly. they only really had 1 clear cut chance all game which they scuffed.

but oh yea as alan shearer said, we haven't beaten city or chelsea which is clearly the benchmark of being considered a top team.

i hate all rival teams as well but at the same time can give credit where its due, for example your result against united was impressive - no mitigating excuses such as 'utd played shit' etc etc.

im not saying we'll win the title, but right about now theres not many teams better then us in england or even europe (i'm talking about long term form, not just a temporary purple patch).

we've won 14 of our last 15 away games.
we are unbeaten for a long time.
we have the most points in the premier league since january 2013
we have conceded some of the fewest goals and scored amongst the most.

anyone who thinks we still need to do something to prove we are a top team is a idiot. we've beaten all the top teams we've played so far. it should be accepted now that we are, regardless of whether we actually win the title or not.

Arsenal stunk it up, Dortmund had 2 goals offside and a penalty not called for them that would of ended the game with a draw.

seriously what on earth are you on about, did you just get out of bed??

2 goals offside? what does that even mean? do you mean they scored 2 goals and they were offside?

Hey buddy they had 2 goals ruled offside and Lewa was clearly fouled in the box in the 94 minute. Your team wasn't amazing and get off the drugs with the "no other team in the world" crap. Dortmund were the better side tonight and were unlucky to not get that penalty call. End of story. Arsenal are far from world beaters.

fair play to Arsenal, typical smash and grab but exactly what they needed to do, Mertesacker was sensational.

this smash and grab thing seems to have been worked by the media to make it sound like we didn't deserve to win. any 3 results would have been completely fair for either team tonight, thats the type of game it was. and if it really was smash and grab, it was no more so then what they did to us 2 weeks ago.

i don't know if you watched the game, but don't think it wasn't really smash and grab at all. that would indicate a team torn apart, loosing in every statistic possession shots passes etc etc. our keeper making save after save, hitting the post..... list goes on. we actually had more possesion, more completed passes (which would be impossible to do if we really employed park the bus tactics)

they had 1 clear cut chance, we actually had 2 clear cut chances 1 for ramsey goal and another ramsey chance straight after.

you sat back, offered nothing, defended well and stole a soft goal, then were comfortable and created a few chances.

Nicked a win when a draw was probably fair, but fair play.

didn't say we are world beaters and didnt say any crap about 'no other team in the world'

your reading things that arent there and also, where on earth did you learn the rules of football from? of course the goals were ruled for offside because they WERE offside.

so are you saying that because they scored 2 offside goals that (correctly) got ruled out, there was some injustice in that?

The goals were rightly ruled offside. Not quite sure what you're getting at. It is irrelavent whther or not they scored because they were offside... simple as. And Arsenal should have really had a penalty too when Weidenfeller clotheslined Koscielny.

you said they had 2 goals ruled for offside, thats possibly becasue as the replays showed, they clearly WERE offside? one of them by about 5 yards. so clear cut that theres not even room for debate.

so are you basically saying that because they scored 2 offside goals that (correctly) got ruled for offside, there was some injustice in that?

Read where i said there was an injustice? Dortmund threatened more than Arsenal, you were lucky to escape with a win plain and simple.

With the totting up system 2 offside goals equals one proper one, everybody knows that :)

Was never a penalty either,i'd have been looking for a stray dog to kick up the arse on the way home if that'd been given against us.

Found this hilarious, it's from tonight's game when Ramsey scored.

Fantastic result at one of the toughest grounds in Europe, to shut Dortmund out ( played 61 at home failed to score in 2 after today ) is amazing.

Really on a roll now. Cant remember the last time we won a game like this. Must have been years ago.
