Hey kiam, i have never been to the COMS, the last city game i went to was about 2002 in the championship and i watched united on the tele last night. My point? FUCK YOU.

Don't know why everyones having a go, it's only the people who know they could do better giving kiam shit. He's 100% right. The only error he made was the thread title, everything else he said is spot on. Do u think players like to play in a half empty quiet stadium. Do u think the score would be 2-1 in injury time if we had the atmosphere of hamburg last night?

The point you've both missed is that some people are more fortunate than others. Some of us are surviving on peanuts at the moment, some people have no job at all. Unfortunately in those situations people will make the hard choice of not attending. I've been to many games in the past and been dismayed at the attendances but I dont go shouting those people down, everyone has their own reasons.

Charge a fiver and we will fill it and make more money in the process.

Hamburg proved that people will come to midweek games if the price is right.

I went and was slightly disappointed with the crowd. 50% of the arsenal crowd did not turn up for a cup game in a competition we might actually win, in one of the most exciting times in recent history.

I hope we win it, and want to be part of it when we do. Some people have other priorities that's fine. My priority at the minute after 28 years (for me) cup less is City.

I didn't go last night, not that its anybodys business.

i have 3 kids. 2 of them are boys and i they get all the city merchandise. kits, shirts, balls scarves hats gloves etc. costs a fucking bomb. also if i go i have to take them or if i cant afford to take them i dont go myself.

my 14 year old is losing interest in city as it happens. he has discovered girls are more interesting at the moment so my 10 year old (who is city/football mad) can go if we can afford it and i dont have to dissapoint one (or both or them) its still a dear doo if your paying for more than one ticket !

fact is, i go when i can afford it. i could be a selfish wanker and not buy food or pay bills. i couldnt care less if it was cheap last night or not because this morning i had to shell out £140 to get the windscreen replaced on my car ( fucking bargain price aswell).

i will be at the west ham game with my lad though !

Mate, I'm not saying if u did not turn up last night u r not a true blue, I'm simply saying this and the f.a cup are our only realistic chances of a trophy, surely we should b creating the best atmosphere possible all the way from round 2 rut to wembley.

But attendances don't win matches do they?

Loyalty points are awarded to people who went and these will tot up in the grand scheme of things. Therefore if we do get to a final they will be rewarded and the people who don't manage to get tickets will think better of it next year if they want to go. It will still be there choice regardless and this holier than thou attitude is childish.
