Here in Aire valley we have had two beautiful weeks, warm and sunny.
Longest day arrives cloudy, dull and cold. Temp was 11C at 3pm; 25 last week!

midnight at almost exactly 60 degrees North, the same as Lerwick in the Shetlands.

Went out into the garden at 10:49 last night and between the moon and the fact the sun was just below the horizon, it was still bright.
On the west coast you would have had a further 15 minutes than us.
An absolutely beautiful night.

Yep. On a clear night,it's not pitch black until 11:30 or so.

And the annoying part of all that is at 01:30 in the morning (sleeping with the windows open in the heat), you can start to hear the seagulls screeching, circling in the sky.
