Tonight the moon was a beautiful purple colour most unexpected I couldn’t get a decent picture because of the street light but it was unusual

Yeah the Moon was only lit up by the Sun in a small slither to its South East, but you could see the whole disc which seemed a purpley/navy sort of colour on the darker night sky.

That was exactly it like an eclipse of the moon ?
