I hear he has a good chippy on the A34 south of Manchester.

Luigi Macari has a chip shop on the A56. There's a large dustbin nearby.

Gutted. Was always the go to chippy on match days.

Where’s the next best? Maine Road chippy isn’t all that imho.

I don't mind that Maine Rd chippy. They'll be happy with the news about Tony's. Also, that small one just up the road a bit (can't think of it's name). Shame about Tony's though; I always called in when I was over for a game,unless the queue was ridiculous.

Its not awful, it’s just not somewhere I look forward to eating from. Tony’s was always spot on.

Ah well, I’ll find somewhere else. Seems the end of an era.

That whole street is being rebuilt at some point soon. Wonder if Mary Ds have come to a financial package with the council.
