Yes because God forbid a City fan should watch the games on TV...like someone said, if there are City fans who live in Australia or the USA they aren't exactly going to fly home per game.

Screw the rags but we can't exactly say much with the attendances in cup games and our fans' records with tats can we.

I've got a rag mate who one European game V Besiktas declared he was going to that game. Throughout the day at work he was saying he couldn't wait to go and giving it the big'n. 'Old Trafford is a mint stadium, the atmosphere is always better than anywhere'. Anyway the next day he comes in and we say, 'Enjoy it last night lad'? He says, 'yeah it was mint, top atmosphere'. We said. 'fuck me, how did you get back from Turkey so fast to make work?'.......

Silence. complete and utter silence.

I remind him of that on an almost weekly basis. He has still never been to a match.
