Been given antibiotics, it is starting to get better slightly. Got to the point yesterday where it was constantly throbbing, absolutely unreal pain.
Had a similar pain recently - inflammed gum around a wisdom tooth and it was agony. But dont worry itll go soon - especially if your dentist gives antibiotics. Dont think they tend to remove wisdom teeth nowadays - its a big procedure. Until then take regular paracetamol (1g 4 times a day) and ibuprofen (400-600mg three times a day). If you can get a codeine combo with either even better

i bought a toothing ring that babys have about a year ago as i was in pain for about 5 days... the pain went after about 2 days of using it in the evening.

try a hot water bottle on your face on the affected side i find this helps with the pain
