Most of my favourites are from when I was a kid.

In no particular order :

Mark Ward
David White
Shaun Goater
Ali Bernabia
Kinkladze
Clive Allen
Paul Lake
Andy Hinchcliffe
Ian Brightwell
Niall Quinn

Favourite goal was Brightwells equaliser at the swamp when we drew 1-1.

"Anderson....Ward is there again....the ball laid back for Brightwell to hit it...Ooooooh what great goal by Brightwell !!!! A tremendous goal from the youngster, who's only playing because Peter Reid is suspended. "

I watched it so many times that the commentary is imprinted on my brain, lol.

I agree with most of the players posted but I think one of my fondest memories (slightly off-topic, sorry)was an Anelka goal that was going out for a corner and he managed to keep it in and score from the left hand side about 10 yards from the post. I cannot for the life of me remember who we were playing or even if we won the game, but I remember thinking that it was one of the best goals I had seen at Maine Road. Come on, somebody help me here, can anyone else remember that game/goal? Sends tingles down my spine thinking of it now. Actually, it might not have been at Maine Road, I cannot remember, but the grumpy sod really was class at times.

Bernabia was class too, and I used to love Huckerby. Kinky was amazing and Fowler was amazing when he was on form.
