Yes, exactly, eagerly jumping on the Shaw/wank Redumption b/wagon.

Good film, clear mythological themes, but finally run-of-the-mill string-puller.

Anyone who has not mentioned a) a silent film, b) a b&w film and/or c) a foreign language film is clearly silly and not to be considered an authority on film.

Please watch a) Sunrise, b) The Long Voyage Home and c) Le Jour se Leve and get back to me.

In my youth I've not had the privilege of watching some of these films, but what I can vouch for the best film I have ever seen is The Shawshank Redemption. Top class film, just love it.
