Top 100 Favourite Male Vocalists Final plus # 1

And tom Jones so low down is ridiculous for his talent.

At least 3 of my ten are in, Tom, Harry Belafonte and chritsty Moore
Totally agree on Tom Mr Genie. I included him in my Top Ten.
Never really liked his music but what an amazing voice. Had he been in a rock band. ????

As i say, not a fan of theirs, it's just something i've heard said over the years.
But it's good to get another opinion.

With regards to the DLR/Hagar thing ... We have always said they lost Diamond Dave, and settled for just a singer.

I agree with Foggy , he sounds generic in Van Halen, and I find it hard to think of him as the singer in his first band, Montrose, where he sounded immense.Maybe their harder edged music suited his voice more?

I thought the first three VH albums were very fresh and exciting. WACF being the best of three brilliant albums.
“And the Cradle will Rock” is a classic.
I lost touch with them after that but still enjoy “Why can’t this be love” when I hear it.

I love I and II and plenty of songs on all the rest through 1984. They really did have a great run. And were dynamite live.

I’ve got the first three or four albums on vinyl still.
I was just looking up I and II and forgotten how many great tracks were on each.
As I said earlier they were so vibrant and fresh sounding back then.
