That dipper run in is way easier than ours,i wish we'd gone for them at our place.

With Torres on fire it's tough to see them dropping many points, chelsea is their toughest game.

We really need brum to take points off them imo, what posters are doing is looking at the table and ruling liverpool out, without seeing their fixtures, both us and spuds have difficult games left where tbh we're likely to drop points.

Can see dippers beating brum today and getting a point at home to chelsea

The sooner Liverpool drop points the better, highly unlikely they will win all 6 remaining games but they are capable.

Assuming they get one draw, preferably today, then the best they can do is 70.

To get 71 we need to win 4 out of our remaining 6 games, I don't think we will get many draws now as Bob will be well aware of what's required.

I can see us beating Brum and one of Scum or Arse, therefore meaning that if/when we beat Villa we will be in pole position when Spuds come to town.

I think we will finish on 72 and get 4th by a good few points.

Liverpool's 2 key games are obviously Brum today and Chelsea. They haven't won away this year so dropping even a couple of points at St Andrews would mean they can only get 70 points maximum. If they then drop points against Chelsea then it's 68 maximum. So those games are key as, despite their away record, you can't see them droppoing points in the other 4 games.

Villa have to come to us and if we win that then Villa can only get 69 points tops and dropping any more to Everton or Brum will leave them further out of it.

If we win our next two, then we could be 7 points ahead of Spurs and too far ahead to catch, even if they beat us.

I do wish we'd been a bit more adventurous against Liverpool. We could have done the double against them and be 11 points ahead now.

Even last year Liverpool dropped points in games like Fulham at home, have faith and be happy its in our own hands.

We should just have shut up shop in those three home matches, Hull, Fulham and Burnley.
Mind you Hughes would still have been in charge so fuck knows what would've happened

No, they're not capable, hence why they're 5 point adrift of us, they lose too many games, lost in Europe again too.

aren't you job`s little comforter
think the scousers will only get a point at best today at brum, but more likely to get nowt.

we on the other hand will beat the rags, villa and spurs.

in the words of gordon ramsey

DONE

as i have said, the villa and spurs games are vital. if we take 4 points from those 2 then we will qualify. simples.

Hull away is also a tough game for Liverpool. Hull have a good home record.

I was in the minority after the Liverpool game, but I thought we played well in that game, and tried our best to win it. Liverpool's priority, as it is most days under Rafa, was to avoid defeat. I think if you were to ask most Liverpool fans they'd be looking at their approach on that day with regret. They are not having a good season, but when they set their minds on it they are very difficult to break down

Sorry to post another shorty among all these long thought out posts.

But we'd be desperately unlucky for a team who have barely managed to string 3 results together all season to suddenly string 6 together in and amongst some knackering European games. But we are City and desperately unlucky is us all over!!

i think 10 points between now and the end of the season will be enough, providing chelsea havent already won the league by the time they go to anfield. wins vs brum, villa and west hzm leaves us needing a point elsewhere. a win vs spurs wud b gr8 as its wot they call a 6 pointer. if i had to pick now, id take a loss vs the rags to beat spurs
