Yes I saw that, however we played Sunderland away last a mere 20 months ago, so its irrelevant, as is "we only won one other league game".

Today's result may well be the point that gets us 4th, they have only lost twice at home this season, no matter how shite they are.

large exhale

i said no because dont want my hopes to be dashed like a strip of wax on a very hairy ass.

yes still sticking to what i said pre season and still feel we will just take it and by only 2 points!

Hughes = Yes
Mancini = No

We shot ourselves in the foot. The win against Chelsea was papering over cracks. Two wins in eight games. Piss poor. Sunderland, one win in four months, lets play three defensive midfielders. Fucking brilliant.

Quite encouraging that after such a dreadful defea..... errr draw, and such a negative display (well in half the game anyway) that so many think we still will finish 4th.

Enough of the players stuck together today to give me real hope.

Anyone can have a bad day, it takes men to stick at it.

Lescott, Kompany, Zabaleta, DeJong, Tevez, Barry, Given, Bellamy all started poorly but kept their concentration and worked hard.

if we'd scored with 20 to go, I feel we'd have got at least one more, probably two or three, so it was real shame that selfishness in front of goal kept us from scoring until the last minute. Bellamy and Tevez have contribute enough to be excused, but certain other guilty parties are being carried, and need to buck their ideas up pronto.

I genuinely think we will make 4th. But it is going to be close and it will chop and change from week in week out. as the half time whistle went for todays game my mate turned and said "well that's 4th spot gone" It's still too soon to say anything of the sort and it will get very tense the less games we have left to play.

I think both Spurs and Villa will fall away and the Scousers will be our main challenge.

It depends.

The side that showed up in the first half would be in the Fizzy Pop League next season.

The side that came out of the dressing room after half time definitely would finish fourth.

Yes, without a doubt and comfortably by 4 points, we are already 1 point ahead of my expectations, although reversed as I thought we would be beat by chelski and win at Sunderland.
