If spuds get top 4 will the big players go there? what about our summer shopping if we miss out?

they have a decent squad already...just not the depth at present
Rednapp would strenghen no doubt abou ti and Chumps league would help this

My worry is spuds will be even harder to shake off if they do get 1/2 really big guns.

I wouln't worry too much about Spurs ....
it's only our own erratic form that has allowed them into grabbing the initiative for 4th place , as much as what they've been doing themselves
they know that ..... we all know it!
We can still do it ... but seeing off Wigan , and beating Spurs at home , now become an absolute must.

I think spurs have a really talented squad and play some very atrractive attcking footy. Could be damaging for us as we have seen they spend with the best of them.

Yeah , but , like us , they still have to find the 'right mix'
and the fact that they're challenging us ... and not the rags , Arsenal or Chelsea , suggests that they haven't quite managed it yet
they have spent a lot of money in years gone by , but they've made some bad signings too , players who haven't really fitted in there ......
only time will tell is they finally get it right!

I just hope all those draws dont come back to haunt us.
to be honest we hold the cards because they need to come to us and pull off an amazing win,we dont usually let teams do that at our place and not only that,they need us to loose and like i said we play them at our place so they will have that in there minds.

We will still be signing the same players whether we get 4th 5th or 6th! and Spurs
may get one or two higher calibre players but will not be getting any top stars, why would anyone really good risk going to a team that might not even qualify for the CL anyway!? I think a team, whether it be Spurs or ourselves, need a good 3 years of proving they are a CL team before any really good players start signing for them!

'If' they get top 4, they will spend big in the summer, be out of the CL in the preliminaries and in the same position as Portsmouth at seasons end...RIP
