I've not heard or read any of the quotes but surely the point is that he is capable of making them hard to beat, which makes them more likely to do well in a 2 legged knockout cup competition than the league?

I'd say that's fair, but think there are too many sides too much better than them for them to win the CL.

Well I spent lunchtime being told by BT sport what a good game I was watching. I struggled to see it myself, but there you go.

Interesting from Spurs. In the autumn I thought they might be our closest challengers, but then they really fell away. But since we beat them they have not lost a game against top 6 opposition.

Arsenal do seem to have fallen away. They have 1 win in the last 6 against top 6 teams. They beat Chelsea in the semi final o& the league cup but beyond that they have been pretty underwhelming in the really high profile games.

Still, six more wins and we’re champions:)
 
I think us, Spurs and Liverpool are the best footballing teams to watch. Interesting we are the top 3

Starting to look exactly like the actual table right down to the size of the gap - of our 16 point lead in the league, half comes from our domination of the top 6 mini league
