Indeed it is. I have seen a bit of another one as well but not as widespread. A hooded zip jacket with the neck drawstring efforts tied in a bow with the zip open.

Sure, if you want to look like the grade-A student who nobody likes, or the bloke in the pub who looks well out of place and like he is there by force, rather than wanting to be there.

I like to button up the top one, but leave the 2 below it open, so i can show off my hairy man-chest and conform with fashion expectations at the same time.
