I like the fact we're ruffling the feathers of the top four Premier League clubs. They've had a monopoly for too long. City supporting Ivan Gazidis turned down the opportunity of working at City and now at Arsenal is talking about salary caps! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... l?ITO=1490

I think arsenal are the most worried, they were challenegd by Villa last season and i think Wenger is really concernced we can pip them to 4th, at the moment i cant see Liverpool, Chelse or U*ited looking over their shoulders

After Arsenal, I think Liverpool is the next weakest....mainly because of their financial problems.

Disagree, I'd say United.

Strength wise next year I'd go

Chelsea
Liverpool
United
City
Arsenal

On paper possibly, but these teams have the experience maybe when our team have had a season together we will push the top 4, but i will be happy with top 6 and progress slowly but surely

"With Manchester City dominating the summer's transfer headlines with reports of huge fees and wages being offered for top stars, Gazidis has called for a greater responsibility from top-flight clubs"

Surely he means Real Madrid???????????

dont give a flyin fuck who he means, no one will tell our guys how to spend there cash! they are slightly successful in business, and know how to conduct there own affairs

I think everyone could be in trouble from us - just think before you start banging the keys. If we assemble the squad that has been touted, we would have the experience and the depth to challenege any Prem team - what we have over all the teams this season is NO European football to concern ourselves about. And imagine what that advantage will have over the winter period which because of the congested fixtures will be tough on all teams. The other thing is depending where we are in the league we may well dip in the market again for the one or two we may need to see us home. Now I am not talking about winning the Prem but we could finish as high as 3rd.

Agree completely.

I'd say a lot rides on us getting Eto'o though, I think his goals could be the difference that fire us up an extra few places.
