With no disrespect intended to Micah, I always had the sneaky feeling that Ned could prove to be more important to us long term. If he can stay injury free and keep hold of a place in the starting 11 against the competiton of Dunne and Micah and almost certainly a big money purchase - Lescott, Toure, Luisao appear to be the Forums favourites then the World Cup next year beckons and we have a well rounded, Educated, popular and well loved individual ready to step up to the Captaincy just as the good times begin to roll.
