Outstanding when he played against us and I was told that we were keeping tabs on him..TheSituation said:He really doesn't.Danamy said:Eljero Elia has to worth a shout to make that top 10
What do we mean by wingers? Wide forwards like Messi, Villa and Pedro or players like Jarvis who bomb down the touchline and whip a cross in?
The game has changed quite a bit since the 70s when teams used to play with a Tueart and Barnes on the wing and a Joe Royle down the middle. The very best teams rely on interchanging forwards who can go wide, and can pay through the middle with quick short passes.
In the Premiership. (don't know enough about european football to judge)
Ashley Young (best crosser in the Premiership)
Malouda. You'll find him way out at the top of the Actim League even though he has had a poor season by his standards
Nani (better than Valencia)
Etherington
Bale (when fit)
Adam Johnson
Baines. Nominally a left back, but gets so many crosses in. best full back in the Premiership and would be my No. 1 target
My No. 1 would be Suarez. A wide striker who has amazing balance and dribbling skills. Whether defences will get better at coping with him next season I don't know. I think he is good enough to transform Liverpool from an ordinary team into something special.
Most over-rated winger: Walcott. Quick, but when it comes to shooting or crossing he messes up. Giggs was once in this category so he may improve. I've seen him do some great things as well so I think he could, but at the moment he flatters to deceive.
