Maybe its a ploy by the club so that the media suddenly believe we are going to sign him, yet really its a smokescreen for somebody else.

Methinks it was something that willbeggers may have posted referring to possibly our no.1 target.
Something on the lines of how we (city) were surprised at the modest pay packet being requested by the agent and they would be coming for purely footballing reasons.........
