Torres

Bearing in mind he was a Liverpool player in November last year, then moved to Chelsea in January of this year, isn't there a rule which states cannot move to more than one club in a year. Because if there is it ain't happening.

Clive Allan would know all about that!

Torres/Tevez swap?

I wouldn't be in the least surprised.

Ridiculous some of the attitudes towards Torres on here, I suspect he'll be in the top 3 scorers by the end of next season and will have probably fired Chelsea to the title.

Hardly ridiculous - the guy literally looks like a fish out of water and has done for two seasons for both clubs and his Country (for whom he can't get a game).

We'd be taking a chance on him finding his form, and while we're nurse-maiding Balo AND Dzeko its hardly a punt I'd be willing to risk.................

We need to hit the ground running, no uncertainty. For that we need a striker we know is in form, and fit physically and mentally. Torres isnt that - so not ridiculous at all really was it?

Sunday Express running a story anout Abromovich wanting Tevez.
Could this be where we want Torres in return ?

Torres+Cash for Tevez :)
It would make no sense at all to sell to one of our main rivals. Surely we are not that fecking stupid!

I posted a notion of this the other week. For me a swap (maybe we get cash too) is a pretty good deal. Torres on his day is a remarkable striker. So he had a poor start at Chelsea, doesn't make him a poor striker. He is still a top drawer striker. It didn't help that him and Drogba didn't hit it off. A move back to the north west might rejuvinate him. Linking up with Silva would help too. Plus he just loves to score against them lot.
Aguero is a good shout too, but for that we need to find a buyer for Tevez too. I've a sneaky feeling Malaga might bid for Tevez. Heard Madrid might offer £25 million plus either Higuin or Benzema. Another good deal as both are very good strikers. I just feel Torres is a better buy.

What is it 1 goal since he signed for chelsea. ?

What an outstanding return for 50 million. I don't see the obsession with signing players that were brilliant 2 or 3 seasons ago but are now well past their best and on the downward trajectory.

Why not sign the top players now moving into Their peak like aguero ?
