Totenham Hotspur 3 Manchester City 4

watched this game over in the states. remember at halftime, the american station broadcasting the game switched from the english commentators to their own american commentators while barton was getting his second yellow but they had no idea what was going on-- big surprise there ( just to clarify i am an american but i honestly can say i know what is going on usually in terms of footballing matters--for instance some americans cant get around the idea of stoppage time).

Just proud to say that i watched this game, till the end, as it was about the time i started to follow mcfc as my club and have done so since, with this being such a great game not only in city's history but in the game's history.

remember going earlier in the season for the league cup, lost 3-1 and we were awful. As we sat down for this my Dad turned and said i bet were not as bad as last time.

i could of hit him at half time.

Never forget that night, went with my brother. I remember 20 mins in 2 Blues arrived, think they said 2.0 ffs, at half time 1 said thats it were off. My son phoned me at half time to tell me barton had been sent off and from then on we all just sang and sang thinking fuck it. I will never forget when we scored the first the spuds to our left looked nervous, i still say us there that night picked up on it and god knows why we believed we could sense it, yeah mad eh lol. Got to add Arnie was unreal that night. At 3 all was stood on my seat as JM headed it towards the goal, yessssssssssssssss i fell backwards swung my arm out for balance and landed a great left hook on my brothers soon becoming black eye. After the mayhem died down we went to leave but the spuds were waiting so we all had to go back in the ground and the spuds kindly replayed the goals. Eventually after risking life and limb up white hart lane, the last few hundred yards running as we had been sussed, we jumped in the car and set on our merry way home (-: Thanks City for that great night

Coward! ;-)

I just mingled with them and then jogged up the High Road to the tube station, mind you I'd come straight from work so I had no colours on.

That Match always cheers me up! Arnie looks like a little nipper playing dress up in that shirt though!

Thanks Joey, seeing as no one else has mentioned it.

Nice one Mammutly

Just thought we all needed cheering up after the weekend, Chelt.

I watched this game at the end of a very long and bad relationship.

I was so inspired I walked out there and then.

City can take you to the depths and to the heights. I think we are definitely on the up now though!

Watched this with my dad in the local, still remember the dispair and my dad saying "there's still 45 mins left yet son" I looked at him as if he was crazy!!! lol

I remember watching this one in a local pub. At half time feeling totally pissed off cause they`re was even some noisy reds in there, I phoned the wife and told her to stay up I`ll be home in a hour, to get a fuckin like City were. But when the secondhalf started and Distin scored I just started drinkin like a fish. Singing and dancing in the pub till about 2.00 am, then had a big barney when I finally got home.

Kin elli watched it with my son in timperly ,hare and hounds at half time we were gutted and he had school in the morning so i took him home to his mums as i lived in crewe with my new less nagging women. i had it on the radio in the car on my way down the m6 coudnt believe what i was hearing i drove like a nutter to my local in crewe and just got in as macken headed the winner i was like a maniac going crazy ,the locals in the pub shit themselves thought i was a nutter ...superb but my son never forgave me and i cant say i blame him,i will never leave early again ever ....
