Sounds like Spurs did a City and shot themselves in the foot. Battered PSV and then the central defender made mistake, recovered, tackled the forward and it ricocheted into the net, then they scored a legit goal only to see it ruled out, then their keeper managed to get himself sent off.

A few years ago, Spurs were beating teams like Inter Milan with Bale on fire and City couldn't get out of the CL groups. Now roles have been reversed.

Do you ever think what it would be like to go back to sh't City again? Even if we just did a Utd and dropped out of top 4, I don't think any of us could handle that.

We are in dreamland at the moment , and i never would take our current situation for granted ,but if there are a bunch of supporters who could handle returning to mediocrity/ shit it is our supporters , we didnt desert our club in the third tier and i am sure we wouldnt if we ended up as a mid-table "cup side"
As for Spurs against PSV that does sound like the old "typical City" , lets hope for some of the same on Monday from the Spuds defence

......................Ederson

Walker........Stones........Laporte........Mendy

.....................Fernandinho

................D Silva..........B Silva

Sterling.........................................Sane

........................Aguero

I thought Kev looked gassed after a half hour or so against Shakhtar, and not unsurprisingly. I think he'd be a better option from the bench for this one - what an option to have.

Plus, how do you leave out either of the Silvas whilst keeping the natural width.

Probably the team i would go for as well , we can afford to ease KDB back into games and Mahrez is also a decent option if we are struggling .

The game there last season saw them in great form and we had just had the week of 3 deaths (Dippers in CL, Rags at home).

Yet we went there and ABSOLUTELY BATTERED them - it could have been 5 or 6 easily.

2 goal margin to us (at least)

Lets hope City have practised lumping the ball forward from free kicks into the penalty area. Because the pitch will be shit.
The only good news is that it won;t be wet on Sunday and Monday. Just cold.

I'm in my 49th year of following City. That tells you I've seen it all and been through it all like the rest of you. What I don't understand is allowing ourselves to evolve into believing we can beat anyone and win the difficult games. Well I do. I expect us to beat spurs and go on and beat those rags on the 11th and go on to win the league. We were immense midweek and a team that play so well away in the Ukraine and go to anfield and should have took all three points are not going to drift too far from these commanding performances. City 3.1 and win the league by 8 points.
