Just saw the Pochettino presser. Didn’t realize Spurs play West Ham in the cup away on Wednesday. West ham play today in the league meaning that they’ll be fresh for Spurs. Poch says they’re maybe overthinking about the line ups due to the short gap. Said he doesn’t think those that will play Monday can play again on Wednesday but he has to see.

Will he rest some players for Wednesday? Obviously Kane and Eriksen will surely start. I think he may rest others, otherwise he risks playing the reserves against West Ham and likely getting knocked out and they are already virtually out of the CL.

Pressure is there to win trophies for Spurs. Poch could go full strength and still lose to us and then go out on Wednesday because of this so I’m interested how this will play out.

100% he won't be resting anyone fit enough against us, Wednesday's game is immaterial (for us).

Yea, was just wondering if he would smarten up finally and try to win a trophy to give Spurs belief and a platform to build on instead of going out of all cups prematurely to focus on the league and then not winning the league anyway.

Smart move would be to rest a few against us and hope for a draw. This is why I was exploring this idea. But he will probably go full strength instead, lose, then play reserves against West Ham and lose again.
