Ecstatic to win that, you could see on the players faces at the end how much they love winning this cup too, so glad Pep didn't throw it away with a reserve team. Brilliant to see the likes of mendy and fernandinho urging Palmer and Doyle to take their turn lifting it, just brilliant to see them including them.
I'm usually there and so miss these kind of things but you really see in those celebrations just how together the entire squad is.
Excellent day of football with our title coronation getting closer as well. If we had lost today it could have been a major setback combined with the defeat to Chelsea last week, instead that's given us a real solid confidence boost ahead of psg I fancy us to mop up now.

40 bloody years I’ve wanted revenge on those twats. I’m not one to get emotional, but watching young Tommy Doyle re-enact his grandad when he had a go at lifting the trophy, well I had to cover my eyes from everyone around me.
Yes it was Mahrez won the alan hardaker trophy, but sky/tyler referred to it as the motm trophy.I think I heard them say it was mahrez...defo a city player
