Tottenham | Post-Match Thread | 4 League Cups In A Row!

Media had them, but none for us fans. We were told they might be available from City's website.
One caller on radio said Brentford, who Spurs beat in semi, would have put up a better show and it's hard to disagree. Spurs were wasting time in the first half and offered almost zero. Well worth jumping through hoops and making the journey.
Thank you

Can someone explain to me the hysteria around Aymeric??
Any **** maintaining he should have been off for 2 yellows seems to have completely missed the fact he did not (correctly btw as touching someone’s arm lightly does not cause them to tumble as if they’d been shot by a sniper!) get booked for the first “challenge”.
If Laporte had got a yellow for that I venture he would have not committed the foul he actually did get booked for.
Therefore any argument he shouldn’t have been on the pitch to score the winner is a complete load of toss!!!!
Talk about clutching at straws....

Great day: the league's almost done and another trophy is won.

Have read somewhere that players don't feel fatigue as long as they are winning. Hopefully that's true and today will help us vs PSG. Surely, Pep is best placed to know that the lads can play two big games within 3 days. I expected more changes, but what do I know.

Cancelo was excellent, and Laporte as well. Pep will wonder whether to play Stones or Laporte next to Dias and Zinchenko or Cancelo at LB. Nice problems to have.
I remember Buzzer saying years ago that players just want to play and they don’t feel tired when they are doing so.

Bournemouth, Burnley, Arsenal, United and Spurs. That's an incredible run for any competition, nevermind the supposed mickey mouse cup. Doesn't get any more difficult than that.

Chelsea's run to the FA Cup final in comparison;

Morecombe, Luton, Barnsley,Sheffield United, City, leicester

Which one is the mickey mouse cup again?

As we discussed pre match, the notion the players can't play 2 big games in 4 days was always ridiculous, they've been rotated all season for this precise moment. You'd have to take a squad of 50 to the euros this summer if that were the case. Pep got it spot on, let's pray he gets it spot on Wednesday too.
