Spurs are no mugs, their first home game of the season and they were up for it to start with at least, however, once we got going - we were immense, movement, speed, technique, flair & running both on and off the ball - jesus !!
That was the best City performance I can remember for a long, long time.

also I don't understand why Spurs don't use Bale for all set pieces, his crosses really are remarkable.

I was left speechless. This Manchester City squad has left me speechless and in a state of paralysis. Nasri playing like he has been in City for years, and Dzeko scoring 4 goals??? Wtf!!!

I gotta say that I warned of the coming storm known as Edin the Diamond. This guy knows how header the ball, left, right foot goals, long distance goals, short distance, perfect positioning, amazing creativity and passing. Is there anything this guy lacks???

I thought this could well be one of the hardest games this season , how wrong was I ? I could never have dreamt of us going to White Hart Lane , and taking the spuds apart like that , especially in the manner that we did so . The football was sublime , the passing and the movement off the ball was excellent and once again , we look like we are going to score EVERY time we go forward . Everyone played well today , Dzeko was tremendous , Nasri was special , but I think the fullbacks should get a lot of credit for keeping 2 of the quickest and dangerous wingers quiet all game long. Doing it to any team would have been good , but the fact that we did it to those twats makes it even more special . It was at times literally like watching Barcelona , and I for one am beyond excited for the rest of the season , especially if we are playing football like this . CTID

just fucking WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! amazing performance i said to my mates alll it needs it one goal and they will come..didnt think we'd get 5!!! and someone in the matchday forum this morning said 5-1 am sure and i said "don't be silly" LOL!!!

I honestly had tears in my eyes watching that... never thought i would see a City team play like that, Barca comparisons arent exaggerated, it was sexy football thats for sure

why do we have to embarrass every team we play against now? i dont think it was really worth it all the humiliation we caused to the spurs. makes me feel city is becoming too arrogant.
