I only found out the other day why he was called the Dawg and its amused me but he is a Brit riding for a Brit team that has sky blue on there kit and based in Manchester so im happy and i have absolutly loved this tour its been magnificent.

Im just worried what im going to do tomorrow. No cricket, no cycling, nothing. I will probs watch the tour highlights on ITV player from stage 1 lol

Cav will be back next year, he's not been on form his jump is usually so much better and he will have Mark Renshaw next year.

Yes will be confirmed on 1st August. Cant sign before then.

For me, doesn't matter if he had Chris Hoy as his lead out man, it's the case that his age combined with his 2 rivals means his best days are behind him. He may still win the odd stage, but his days of dominance are gone

You are a harsh judge mate, he was ill at the start of the tour, his lead out train has been poor bar one stage, sprinters go on to their mid 30s Pettachi and Hushovd won the green jersey then, for example. He will struggle to win the green from Sagan but stages he's got plenty of life in him yet.

He went to a team that was going to concentrate on him and winning stages/green jersey, rather than the yellow jersey that Sky's focus is on.
