Ok hands up who saw Cav signing up to quickstep? He looked done last season.

He has a great relationship with Lefevere and he might just sneak the odd win with such a strong team. He's not going to catch Merckx's tour stage victories though, which is such a shame as I thought, back in 204/15 he'd smash it.

Ok hands up who saw Cav signing up to quickstep? He looked done last season.

He won’t be on much money and he has a big social media following/is a big name in the sport as well as having history with the team so it makes sense for him to do one final year there to try and get a big win as a swan song.

For what it’s worth I don’t think he’ll even come close to winning any GT stages or bigger races.

Illness as set him back the last few years.
Such a shame because I think he would have broke the stage record for most wins.
