Arse fans ive spoke to think he's past it
he is completely out of favour at Arsenal. Both with Wenger and the fans. Frankly hes been poor since the ACN. If we can get him back to his best then its a good signing, but right now no better (probably worse) than what we already have at CB.

Toure and Bridge would be a good addition to our defence.
I don't think we should sell any defenders either btw, we need strength in depth.

Before I start I hope this is true, he is a top quality centre back and its fair to say that we are struggling in that position at the moment BUT
I seem to remember bookies stopping taking bets on a certain Mr Koeman becoming our manager before Sven took over after some so called ITK posters saw him doing his weekly big shop at Asda over the road from COMs. Turns out it wasnt him!
I am not saying this will go the same way but it only takes one person posting on a forum that something is a done deal and the gossip spreads like wildfire, I could quite easily go on another forum now and say 'Kaka is a done deal, I cant tell you how I know but trust me its done' and without doubt my post would make it back onto this forum in no more than a few hours!
I therefore remain hopeful this is true but at this moment in time I will take ITK posts with a pinch of salt until it is confirmed by the club!
