He gets slated on here, but I thought Capt. Kolo tried to take the fight to them 2nd half and charged forward made some real in roads.

Good on ya Kolo.

Yeah I think he's done well last couple of games, what was that in the 1st half when the ref appeared to call him over to have a word with Bellers for his justified complaint bout a foul on Tev?!!

I'd play him in barrys possition tbh

I'd play him in Sylvinho's posistion.

Last night he showed the balls to go and try and win the game and he has my respect for that. I still don't think he is the player who should be leading the team. Something we have missed all season, is an out and out leader of the team. Was gutted last night, but Everton scored 2 and we didn't. (Albeit one goal from a player who shouldn't have been on the pitch!)

But fair play to them, they took the chances they had. Rodwell turned Kompany like he was nothing.

I'd play him at right back, hes not physical enough to be CB and his defending is really dodgy. The only part of his game that looked good yesterday was going forward

Just another example of HMP Walton's efforts at being even handed. I fancy Bellers gave him a mouthful, had Kolo over to avoid a yellow, but later booked Pienaar who continued to argue the toss after the card, but no sign of Neville being summoned. Refs are too handy at lobbing out yeller cards when their competence and impartiality are called into question - Given's card yesterday for a legitimate grievance (?) - when foul challenges go unpunished.

And somebody enlighten me as to what the ref does when teams are taking twice as long over goal kicks than necessary - do they add time on, and has the defence to clock up fifteen minutes before the ref books 'em for time-wasting?

It cant be coincidence that as soon as Toure is back in defence the organisation goes completely out of the window. The problem is with Lescott out for near on the rest of the season Toure is a guaranteed starter which will also mean he is captain!
