Says on one site at Newsnow that City could also sign his brother too .... is he any good ?

Yaya Toure is exactly what our midfield needs, a good strong box-to-box player, not sure whether Barca would sell though.

Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has told want-away defender Kolo Toure he will not be leaving The Emirates this month after rejecting the Ivory Coast international's transfer request.

The 27-year-old Manchester City target reportedly had a fall-out with defensive partner William Gallas after the troublesome Frenchman allegedly 'bad-mouthed' Toure to manager Arsene Wenger which is said to have triggered his surprise demand.

However, Hill-Wood has offered little sympathy for the £10 million rated man and insists the club will refuse any offers for the player, who has just 18 months remaining on his current £3.5 million deal with the north London outfit.

'They seem to get unhappy rather quickly for odd reasons,' Hill-Wood told the Daily Star.

'I know about it (the transfer request) but we are no going to accept it.

'We are not looking to let any of our players go and he (Kolo Toure) is under contract - and we expect him to honour it,' he added.

Toure signed for the Gunners almost seven years ago for a bargain £150,000 from Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas in February 2002 - voted by Sportsmail as the 21st best-ever transfer deal.
