Trailer Time...

Made for [relatively] small money in Hollywood terms, by a stunt coordinator-turned- director, guided with few special effects; it prints its own profits.

Once the profits fall, they'll bin it off.
If you're on about JW, I thought the first two were very good. The third one was, for me, a bit meh. Maybe fatigue/boredom with the franchise on my part. Absolutely agree with your last line. Cash is king. It's a hard nosed business, after all.

Films out this week:

Cinema

Cocaine Bear - Thurs 23rd Feb

Luther: The Fallen Sun - Fri 24th Feb - I would assume this is also available on Netflix as they've funded it.

What's Love Got To Do With It? - Fri 24th Feb

Streaming
The Strays - Netflix - Wed 22nd Feb

We Have A Ghost - Netflix - Fri 24th Feb

There's also a Kevin Hart movie called Die Hart which he plays a parody of himself coming out on Prime on the 24th but there isn't a new trailer for it.

Boy, do I have opinions!

'Luther'? Looks like they've let the shackles off this character since the BBC let it go. The trailer's all over the place, so that doesn't help with any confidence the film will be, actually, any good. And, may I say, I thought Elba swore off doing any more this silly character (potential was great in the beginning), so money and opportunity must be at a premium!

"The Strays" looks like a terrible spin on "Get Out". I STILL haven't seen that film, but this looks like all kinds of no!

"We Have a Ghost" looks like fun and just gets an extra point for being included in the Jennifer Coolidge renaissance!

Yeah The Strays is such an obvious Get Out rip off, it'll probably have a slightly different twist. I've only seen the trailer to Don't Worry Darling but it looks a bit like that as well.

Just Cocaine Bear for me this week and even that's just to see how over the top they go with it.

going by that trailer it feels like Luther is going more down the Equaliser route than what Luther used to be.

Now this is right up my street

On my life as soon as the first kill happened I said to myself 'This is so 'John Wick' ' and then the titling popped up!!

I burst out laughing!

They, now, have a style card we can see and I'm here for it! It looks like a Tarantino homage as well, so it's going to be great to watch, I'm sure!
